Mato's version has 2 soft lock locations later in the game and I've taken pics on the spots that trigger them. You can 100% avoid them and
never use the teleporters. This is due to new event coding from Tsushiy and not something I can fix. Below are the spots via pictures:

MAKE SURE you don't save/quit here or save/die, as the lowered platform to the west will be raised and you'll be stuck here. Use save states
if anything. And always have a back up save file.

DO NOT SAVE HERE (FLOATING CONTINENT IN THE WORLD OF RUIN), FAIR WARNING!

Alternatively, you can try using these cheat codes if on emulator to walk through walls and move back towards the raised platform:

425. AA90-74DD Walk through walls (only certain directions)
426. AA20-77AD Walk through walls (better than other code!)

They're a little finnicky, but if you turn it off/on you can get back onto the platform.

If the above doesn't work and you are flat stuck and cannot get out/saved yourself into this mess, please check the folders here for a 2.9 or
3.0 copy of the Japanese version (depending if you're on 2.9x or 3.0x) and load your save file into that, then walk yourself out, save, and revert your save file back to Mato's version.

Equipping Gauntlet and auto-equipping someone may sometimes create/equip a powerful weapon you don't normally have (game may give you Rune
Bell, Ragnarok, Omega Weapon etc). This is a known issue and fixed in 3.0+ but something that persists in 2.9.4 and 2.9.7.

Alot of Mato's code currently clashes with Tsushiy's due to new things being added. Here's what you need to be aware of:

Due to Mato's coding clashing with Tsushiy's as of 2.9.5+, Kefka's battle sprite for a few battles and when Gogo is using his sprite will
basically look like Missingno. I tried to fix it, but it seems the space Tsushiy uses for the battle sprites has Mato using it for event data.
Unless he pops back and fixes it, not much I can do about it. It doesn't break the game, but you'll just have a Missingno. Kefka sprite.

Another issue is due to the new methods to obtain Carbuncle and Catoblepas in the World of Ruin, the event coding for Catoblepas is used by
Mato for something else and crashes the game. I was able to get Carbuncle to work and that is available, but if you speak to the bandit once
you obtain Carbuncle, you'll crash the game. A work around for this is to use the lua on snes9x-rr emulator and follow the instructions at the
bottom of the readme file in the lua folder in this download. Keep in mind they're available in the World of Balance, so this is only if you
missed them.

Sometimes the game may black screen/softlock after a battle (maybe 1-2 times a playthrough). It happens on any version of T-Edition and isn't
anything we know how to fix. There's just alot going on in the background of this mod and it's a miracle it all works. Just save often to
counter this. You may never even see it, as it is rare.

Changing other party members' costumes while Terra is in your party may make her unlearn a handful of low-tier spells back down to 25%. This
may also, unconfirmed yet as of 11/15/22, make you lose Phoenix and Asura. We've had two reports of espers disappearing, and the cause seems
related to this. The issue is fixed in JP and the lua translation 3.0.2, but for now it's not in this one, Mato's. We'll try and fix it down
the road if we can pinpoint the problem, but for now please save/check espers after changing costumes if Terra is in the active party. If you
do lose Phoenix or Asura (if others are missing or reported I'll add codes below) enter this line of code to the bottom of your MatoLua file,
run the lua and it should appear. You can save and then remove it/turn the lua off if not using it (as in transferring your save file from off
PC if you play on handheld, console, etc):

Please back up your save file before attempting in the event something breaks:

Phoenix:

memory.writebyte(0x7E186C,bit.bor(memory.readbyte(0x7E186C),0x04))

Asura:

memory.writebyte(0x7E186C,bit.bor(memory.readbyte(0x7E186C),0x02))

The following dialogue is busted as of 3.0.1 due to new coding being put in the script bank (none of these will break the game and are just
annoying):

The Aged Man's dialogue (Gau's father) later in the WoB is a jumbled mess, as is his stove and sleeping in the bed (both are ok to use).
Tsushiy added some code here that was originally empty, but Mato uses it, resulting in a mess. It doesn't crash the game nor is it important
dialogue (just him rambling about you fixing his house). We don't know what's here exactly and can't fix it currently. This won't affect
gameplay or crash the game.

Part of Sabin's dialogue with the party after battling Vargas is broken.

One of Yura's lines in Esper Mountain is busted.

One of Shadow and the team's lines are busted when recruiting Shadow on the Floating Continent.

Old Man NPC in Kohlingen WoR has part of his dialogue jumbled.

Dirt text by the Little Girl NPC in Kohlingen WoR; stepping on the tile infront of her.

Showing Owzer Deathgaze's Claw. You'll still get the reward.

Biggs, Wedge, Mog during the 3 scenarios, Ghost, etc will all have 0 or 1 for their main stats. This is a bug Tsushiy is currently unable to
fix, but it affects nothing for their gameplay and you'll be able to progress/clear the events with these characters as normal. It MAY just
be a display issue.

Checking the status screen of a character when selecting a party will show blank names. This is due to a new screen being used by Tsushiy and
Mato's is currently running on an older version. This won't freeze anything, but if you want to view the status of a character, just view it
when they're actually in your party from the menu.

During new game+, using the Omega Weapon may cause your character to step back and off screen, as well as attack with no sound effect. This
was fixed in JP and the lua versions, but is currently unable to be addressed in Mato's. It won't crash or break your game, but it can be
annoying. (Unconfirmed for Mato's; when tested the weapon worked fine for me, though it's possible I patched the fix and didn't know it. Just
be aware in the event it does happen to you. This is fixed in JP and the Lua version.)

Possibly related to 3.0+, but the achievement "Magicite Maniac", for collecting all the espers, won't trigger and appear for Mato's. This
works fine on JP and lua, but for some reason not his. We'll try to isolate the issue and fix it, but be aware it's currently busted. It may
or may not appear for you. Oddly enough, loading the save file into the JP version, saving it, then loading back into Mato's seems to fix the
issue. This bug may also affect other statues, so if you for certain complete an achievement and fail to get the statue, please try loading your game into the JP version, go to the Achievement Room, checking, then saving and sending your save back to the English version. See the
folder included in this download for JP patch files (to transfer saves, just rename your .srm file (the save data) to the file name of the rom
you set the JP patch onto, then rename the .srm afterwards to the English rom file's name. MAKE A BACK UP OF THE .SRM BEFORE DOING ALL THIS
IN THE EVENT YOU MESS UP!) If you're on 2.9.4 and a statue fails to load, and JP 2.9.4 doesn't work, you can try loading into JP 2.9.7 and
checking, but ANY save file from 2.9 will not work on 3.0+ so don't bother. This also may not work if you're using version A or A2 from
romhacking.net or elsewhere. In the event all of this fails and the statues just flat don't load, then we're currently at a loss for why this
happens. It seems solved on 3.0+, especially on the lua version, but if you run into problems, you know what to expect. This isn't something
we can troubleshoot or solve currently and I apologize for the headache if you run into it.
